Bellamy Young
Young's acting career started in theater. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the original production of The Life. In addition, she has performed off-Broadway in Stephensondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along (1994) as well as in the show of Randy Newman, Faust (1995-1996). Her first appearance on television in 1995 with an appearance on the show as"Dr. Courtney Evans, NBC's daytime soap drama Another World. The role was in Law & Order as a guest star in two roles in 1997 as well as in 1998. The actress made her debut on 1999, playing a part in Black and White, a crime drama. Then she appeared in numerous independent films. Then, in the beginning of 2000s, she was spotted in guest-starring characters on several television dramas and comedies, which included The Drew Carey Show, The X Files, ER, Frasier, The West Wing, NCIS, Medium, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Drop Dead Diva, and Castle. From 2000 to 2011 Young made over 30 guest appearances on TV shows. Young was among the regular actors in Peacemakers, a USA Network television series that aired in 2003. After a total of nine episodes, a season, the series was canceled. The actress played recurring roles on the Lifetime legal drama For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs, as The Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs in the role of Monica West (CSI: Miami, 2005-06), ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney). In 2011, she appeared as an uncredited guest appearance on Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons on Criminal Minds.
