Greenwood was born and raised in Toronto. Greenwood is also an athlete and been a dance instructor in the school. She was a vocalist and studied musical theater in Canada. The acting classes she received were in several schools, such as The Professional Actors Lab, "Jason Fraser Studios" as well as The Etobicoke School of the Arts as well as The University Settlement Drama Group.
